Responsibilities:

Shibaura Machine Company, America Machine Company, America has been an Illinois corporation since 1975, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shibaura Machine Co., Ltd., a premier manufacturer of a variety of high-quality industrial machinery.  The principal responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to support all shipping/receiving and logistics activities within the warehouse environment.

Essential Duties:

• Order picking and packing,
• All aspects of shipping, receiving, inventory control and house-keeping functions,
• Any other duties and tasks, consistent with your abilities.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• Detail oriented individual, conscientious, accurate, capable of multi-tasking and working with other employees in a team environment,
• At least two (2) years of warehousing experience,
• Experience with barcode inventory and handheld scanner devices,
• Experience operating sit-down propane fork truck,
• Ability to lift and handle up to 70 lbs.

Preferred Requirements:

• Certified on fork lift truck operation,
• Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping systems.

Working Conditions:

• General warehouse environment (no air conditioning) with powered industrial vehicles.
